  • I’m not European so my understanding of the issue may be off, but I would assume the trains are run by a private company whilst the decision to actually electrify track probably includes government involvement in each country.

Different countries may approach electrification at different paces, and having a vehicle capable of using both electrified, and non-electrified rail will give the companies flexibility in providing service along both types of routes.

    Seems like a non brainer?

When we reach full electrification, these trains won’t be any worse off than any full electric variants. I suppose you can argue that the diesel engine becomes dead weight but like…how significant is that actually in contrast to…the rest of the entire train?

  • Musk and his fascination with the letter X.

is the letter X really all that fascinating? I can think of a number of letters far more fascinating than X.

Like what’s up with the letter W? Shits kinda crazy, just a bunch of lines and shit.

Literally everyone and their mom is sleeping on the letter Z…

Oh, and don’t even get me started on the letter O. Just think about that for a second. Is it one line? Or 0 lines? Or an infinite line? Circles are fucking crazy bro

Bruh, you can’t spare two whole dollars for something you’re going to be using every day?

Or, we can just like …buy it once…like most other software that isn’t tied to a first-party hosted service?

The future is either free to use, but put up with ads, or pay a meager amount to support the developers so ads arent required to sustain the product.

I’d like to unsubscribe from your vision of the future
