How are these companies able to operate in broad daylight in the EU of all places? I mean the name itself is saying out loud what they do.

It has a hard client for IOS via testflight as well.
I just say “Hey sir, start timer 15 (or whatever) minutes”. Works every time. I sometimes even ask how many minutes left.
Every time I get home and I know I’ve been touching a lot of stuff (i.e. grocery shopping). I just wipe it down with a napkin and rubbing alcohol.
This was more than a decade ago. Someone from HR mistakenly emailed a spreadsheet of all employees’ salaries to a bunch of people who aren’t authorized to see it. As part of my job, my team was tasked to track down all traces of the file on email and company workstations and remove it. Naturally I was able to see the file because of my task. I saw how low my pay was compared to my colleagues and how absurd it jumps up in just a couple of levels in rank. I and a lot of employees quit shortly after.
Oh cool we have a TLDR bot on lemmy too! Good bot.
I’m not well versed in the comic history, but I thought Apocalypse was the first mutant. I didn’t know Namor came first.
I noticed links open on the in-app browser when tapping from inside the post. I agree tapping on a link directly from the feed should also open within the app. I’m sure many users on beta have already reported it.
Thanks for all your hard work on this. I’ve used lasim to transfer my subscriptions to my other accounts on other instances when the lemmy.world downtimes happened last week. I love the portability of the tool.
Yeah that’s where a lot of people called bullshit.
They were/are. They’re just making it official now.
We like to sit on the end of the middle row so my wife doesn’t have to sit next to anyone else (her preference), and we can easily get up if needed without bothering anyone else. That said, it’s why we prefer cinemas with fewer seating so our viewing angle isn’t bad; unlike large theaters where end seats are too far to the side. Thankfully the IMAX in our city has the last 2 rows shorter than the rest, so seating at the end puts you close to the center; so we don’t need to sit at the very side of a huge theater.
Just installed to test it, thanks! One thing I immediately noticed is that in compact mode, I keep on accidentally downvoting posts when trying to open them. We can already upvote/downvote using arrows on the right side so I think it would be better to just open the post when tapping anywhere on the post title. Great work and I’m loving how snappy it is, and I’m also using the memmy and mlem betas.
What are the effects for other parts of the world like Asia and North America? I read somewhere that northern US states will become the most tolerable in the US, and Florida (if it doesn’t drown first) and a lot of the south are gonna be uninhabitable.
I release independently and I earned a whopping $43 for 50k+ streams (so far). Sure, 50k isn’t much compared to mainstream artists, but $43 isn’t much either.
All the fuss and arguments between people who want to promote lemmy and the people who refuse to genereate more traffic for reddit and I can’t even see the join-lemmy art with the entire thing zoomed out.
I’d think someone who sharts often enough in their sleep to be worried should be worried regardless if they’re naked or not.
I use the old.reddit extension on firefox to force it. I haven’t been on there for a while now so not sure if it still works.
I used Deezer for several years before they removed regional pricing. Sound quality was better than Spotify IMO, and I like their UI more. It’s cleaner and less cluttered. The fact that you get lossless included by default now is definitely a plus too. You can also upload your own wav/mp3 files if you can’t find it in their catalog. Never tried Tidal so I don’t have an opinion about it.
Huh. I wonder what they mean by “bad user UX”. I was expecting concerns about encryption or privacy, not UX. I already use Signal, so it would be a positive for me if they federate.
