Oh yea I forgot about them announcing that. I will look into it.
Thanks for the tip.
Not really. Safest place to get an app is from the Dev if you’re not using the play store. FDroid has been known to host out of date packages forever, causing security concerns.
Obtainium is pretty easy to use.
Is there a non-nightly version? I only use nightly on my tablet for the new “desktop tabs” feature. And how would I use this in Obtainium?
Yea, 125.3 on GH, 126 on Play Store.
Comment OP must never learn anything new. Good find.
Most magnet fishers work in groups.
Yea I’ve been meaning to add that to Thunder.
Depends on four factors (theory):
The last one is key. I think most people skim right over them, which makes the first three important.

Wasn’t a big issue with Graphene that it doesn’t support any form of smart battery charging?
And before the responses pour in, yes, I’ve read https://akc3n.page/posts/battery-management/. And no, there is not a quoted source for a device skipping maintenance mode at 80%, or to refute the many studies showing the benefit to lithium cells, or to cover wireless or non-PD charging. When a “solution” is using a smart plug with HA to stop charging, it’s still an issue.
Edit: I do like GrapheneOS. This is just a decision I don’t agree with.
Those are Matrix bridges. Beeper is a skin over matrix.
To avoid confusion, this person is saying their instance is lemmy.cafe, not answering the question. Lemmy.ml is the referred to instance.
Yes, that’s what I was saying. In any event, the US is the only country with a dumb sequential SSN anyway, since no one seems to want a secure national ID that everyone else has.
You have the same problems we have with passkey today. If the key is compromised, and you don’t have a separate recovery method, how would a third-party know if you rotated the key or the attacker did? Keys are the way to go for these things, yes, but processes and management at a human level are required.
Since no one answered your question, my understanding is Hexbear was a breeding ground for trolls, abuse, and misinformation. After what I had seen I was all for the defederation.
For me, if there are a bunch of instances, run by individuals, not companies, that have no stake in each other, and they have all defederated from somewhere, there’s probably a good enough reason for me to not go digging for “that one community there”.
Not stones, but I’ve been very happy with this after watching a crap ton of reviews.

I use it with some Shun kitchen knives.
This is the best thing I’ve read today.
Every time I see this, it reminds me that webp is not good, it’s just better. And that an author of webp likely kept JPEG XL out of Chrome. What could have been…
