I even shared an anecdote about my own self diagnosis? I’m genuinely baffled that you just lash out at someone who agrees with you.
“Diagnosing” yourself is a step along the way to finding behavioural applications that help you. I would never have even begun to start pursuing half the things that have helped me if I didn’t see a bunch of people sharing their experience as autistic and go “oh shit, might I be autistic?”.
What you are referring to as “telling people to diagnose themselves” is actually just encouraging people to look inward and outward, find common themes between themselves and others, and use those findings to inform what they can do to help themselves and those around them.
If, in fact, you don’t take any issue with that and its instead just the word “diagnosis” that you take issue with, then I have no right to stop you from being that pedantic but there are better hills to die on.

You’re missing the point of the hypothetical.
Firstly, as far as I understand, the concept is supposed to be that you’re stuck in an unknown location with no witnesses. Hence the choice of “spend a night in the woods alone with a bear/man”. The purpose of this is to ensure that neither the bear nor the man are going to have peer pressure or have any sort of intervention from a third party.
Secondly, I’m not a toxic woman and this isn’t a toxic discussion. The hypothetical is a vessel for encouraging discussion about women feeling unsafe around unknown men. The bear isn’t the point. The takeaway is supposed to be "a lot of women feel so unsafe around unknown men that they’d choose [insert bad thing].
This isn’t a discussion about real life hiking safety. Many women (including me) are sharing their discomfort about random men. Hear them, acknowledge them. Their fear and discomfort is based on their lived experience or the lived experience of the women close to them.
Side note, not sure if the Australia vs America comment was directed to me or the discussion in general but for posterity’s sake I’m not American and don’t live in America.

I find them neat, but there’s just too many issues I can’t overlook.

A vast amount of the training data used for the big llms and image generators is not in the public domain, which is at best ethically grey but at worst just blatantly exploiting artists and other professionals.
If there existed some alternatives to the big names that avoided both of these issues, I’d love to use them for code autocomplete and image generation for ttrpgs, but as it stands the moral cost is too high.

With GOG, there’s no DRM. So in all senses except some weird philosophical context, I do own the game. I paid money and received a file(s) that I can relocate, make backups of, burn to disc, archive, etc.
You could argue that if they revoke the license and I continue using the file that I have on my computer, that I’m now committing piracy, but that’s getting into a big technicality
