This should be the top comment. Corporations should not be allowed to play the game of ‘let’s see how long we can get away with this’.

Yeah I understand. I got upset with few comments that were praising Sri Lanka. I just wanted to remind people that Sri Lanka has its skeletons too. Hidden away in mass graves.
After all Sri Lanka does have previous experience with committing genocide and getting away with it.
I understand that we are speed running earth’s demise but can we please pick up the pace. I have a report deadline on Monday but I am in no mood to do it.
I really like these metrics that some posters have started adding! It helps to quickly determine what is the credibility of the source!
I do this all the time even when I am awake. I try to look at myself from a camera above me.
I support this argument. When comparing between FW and Mac, FW comes out on top for me. But do I need a high powered laptop? How often will I use it to its full ability? Most universities provide clusters to run your processing intensive jobs. If you are forced to use your own resources, using cloud resources is often cheaper than buying an expensive specced out laptop. I think the only justifications for buying a specced out laptop is when you are actively doing CAD, video editing or gaming. For everything else, a typical 500 USD laptop should be sufficient.
When the user deletes their account, does it show up as a deleted account in the archive or does it still show their username?
OP I highly recommend following these steps to create your custom filter to clear your inbox! There are also plugins that you can use to do this. It is not required but maybe less intimidating to use.
No that’s cryogenic. Cyanogenic is the small capsule that spies bite on when they are captured so that they can die quickly.
That’s an interesting question though. How much WMDs do we need to destroy earth. Like really fuck it up. I suppose if we concentrate enough explosions on one side of the earth we may be able to alter the mass of the earth. This might change its path temporarily this leading to collision with either the moon or other planets.
Lol you are absolutely right! Some Indians have a major holiday coming up in 15 days. It is based on rice harvest. Its a whole shebang for 3 days.
I really like history based art like this one. I just feels a bit cheated when it comes from AI. When a human does it there is usually some meaning behind each choice. Such as why the golden nails, the different writing instruments on the table, lighting facilities. In order to be accurate the artist spends a lot of time verifying what was historically available at the time and then represents it on canvas. With AI the results look very cool at surface level but I cannot enjoy the details. Did ancient Egyptians use a thin candle? Did they have pencil cup, an ink bottle? Did they write on sheets of paper?
I see how others make a point about other streaming services. But it is different with YouTube. Firstly the content is from peers not from production houses. Secondly it feels like an AH move to start out as a free service and then start charging after you know you have enough people hooked ( this is how drug dealers work too). It is not illegal but just feels immoral (not the drugs, just yt)
I have been using ungoogled chromium for a while. I don’t exactly get what you mean by torture.
“Flea market of federated social media” is an awesome description!
Why is installing a VPN considered bad? Is it because it is done without user consent? I don’t understand if there is any malicious intent.
Good catch! I think it is too long for him
Is this expectation unreasonable? If consumers look for a monopolized service then won’t that service attempt to exploit the users? Just thinking out loud. I don’t know what the solution is.
This is a leading question. While I appreciate the sentiment, the question makes multiple assumptions and provides no reference/evidence. The question just wants to polarize the readers.
