Oil and gas collapsed because of reduced demand from the pandemic and Putin refusing to cut production so he could tank US oil. Oil isnt likely to collapse again anytime soon.
But then it also says after that Originally Published: November 18, 2020 Who knows?
Great article, and shocking to see the prices mentioned and this at the end: This article originally ran in the February 1997 issue of Reader’s Digest.
I can’t fathom how a husband can know his wife has been raped but do nothing and say nothing about it. Did he sit and watch? How does he know it happened if not? Where was he when this happened? How did he justify not telling you? Why would he not report this crime? How has this rapist not been held accountable, by your husband at least? If I knew with certainty someone raped my wife the police would be involved immediately. If there were some details that meant we couldn’t get the authorities involved, I’d mete out some violent justice myself assuming the rapist isn’t going to report me since he doesnt want the authorities involved either.
My Vizio smart TV’s smart features won’t work if you don’t accept the terms of use. HDMI inputs worked though, and probably TV tuner… didnt try it. I eventually accepted of course, but that might be an option for you.
He’s undoubtedly counting on tips.
I have 3 tablespoons that don’t match the rest of my silverware and I have no idea where they came from. I guess someone brought a spoons to my house? They all offend me and I bury them under all the other spoons to reduce the risk of picking one up.
Like you said, I don’t know why I don’t just throw them out.
I mean if you really care about security you’re not using wifi… you’re going hard wired. Wifi can be messed up by your neighbors unintentionally and then there goes your tampering alarm. Tampering alarms are good when the system isn’t fragile.
No security installer is going to suggest wifi if someone’s genuinely concerned about security.
A 40 mile commute is a reason to get a cheap, fuel-efficient vehicle. Save money on gas, insurance and maintenance.
You lost the ability to enjoy it forever, and that’s what the language at time of sale said you’d have.
I’ve re-enabled notifications now and was receiving them fine with location setting of “only when app in use”. Then this morning I disabled location permissions entirely for the app and I continue to receive the notifications.
I don’t think so. I’ve had the notifications off though so I’m not 100%. I turned them back on so I’ll know soon enough.
Just looked at the app’s permission settings on my phone… set to only allow location while being used.
Like you I don’t see much use for the app, though the notifications can be handy if you want to know when a load us finished and you can’t hear it’s beeps. I work out of my basement with my washer upstairs so that can be the case with me. But still rare that I ever use it.
Just got the same update. If you can get a remote you can go into settings and turn off the new Home experience.
Battery life. I worked an entire day - 8 hours - on my M1 Pro unplugged. You simply can’t get that with anything but Apple silicon.
The Apple M processors really are game changers. Not only are they fast but generate little heat and sip power. I’m a software developer and use an M1 Pro for work. When I went on the road with it the first time I forgot to get out the charger and plug it in when I setup at a table. Realized it at lunch and shocked I still had plenty of battery left it unplugged. I worked the entire 8 hour day on battery. You won’t find an Intel or AMD processor that’ll do that.
I still have my home-built AMD 5950x PC with Windows that I use for gaming and personal projects. I have Linux Mint on my home server. If I was in the market for a laptop that I was going to be using a lot away from my home desk, I’d get a Mac laptop just for the incredible battery life and performance. Apple takes advantage of people for what they charge for memory and storage but the Apple silicon is quality.
Nope. Soldered directly onto the motherboard now and no expansion.
Yeah. The size of this cubicle and not being open plan tells you this picture is from at least a decade ago. It’s so much worse than this now.
I believe you’re misstating one thing if I remember the law last time I read it: It is a felony to knowingly sell a firearm to prohibited persons.
If you aren’t bound to the FFL requirements you are not obligated to ask if the person is in anyway prohibited from buying a firearm, and what you don’t know or ask keeps you free from jeopardy.
