Thank you. I don’t hate you either.
I think people hate me more online than here, especially on Lemmy compared to Reddit. However, I find the people here who hate me are looking to hate in general.
Or we could see a reimagining of the EU as it transitions from a national led organization to a supernational one. We are already seeing some national heads make moves to support their party over nation in EU politics. It is possible that this continues as politics in the EU becomes more important than member nations, especially as the EU starts gaining increasing budgetary and policy power.
Germany also has an economy that is most threatened by China’s increasing manufacturing prowess, both within the EU and outside of it.
It is also becoming apparent that Merkel’s leadership was in just being able to maintain the status quo, something that Germany can’t do now.
Not really. I don’t call people not can I read in my dreams.
Generally yes. If I didn’t want it, I wouldn’t post it.
Yeah. I also find the relationship has a lot more dysfunction on Jim’s part than fans want to admit. Jim wouldn’t cheat on Pam, but Jim makes several life changing decisions without Pam and gets angry if Pam doesn’t go along with them.
The later Wesley episodes are good because you see him as a bright young man trying to do right in the world rather than a precocious kid who solves problems the grown-ups can’t.
The writers didn’t really know how to write the Crusher-Picard relationship(s) in the early seasons.
She is hated because she is acting sanely in this situation and is constantly trying to stop Walter’s insanity.
That would be the President’s plan.
Biden has given policy points, but he is largely limited as, at best, he is expected to have a tie in the Senate.
We are also seeing this get written by others since the first Trump term saw a vacuum in policy and this is an attempt to get people on board beforehand so Trump’s second term is more effective when he goes all dictator.
Lemmy was designed to be a place where communists would have a community. Some instances weren’t, but a lot of the original ones were.
Not since college.
After that, I had to help them out a few times.
That’s fine, but someone has to pay for it.
Squatting is only legal over time.
It is been a plan for a while in the USA to shift launches from government run to private run for over a decade. This is just an implementation of that strategy.
Mankind has started colonizing the solar system, including installing a satellite at the Sun-Mars L1 Lagrange Point to protect Mars from solar radiation and dumping a ton of water and methane ice on Mars until it is able sustain a thicker atmosphere and liquid water on the surface. Then, Kessler syndrome hits Earth Orbit, which causes a chain of events that collapses society on Earth.
Thousands of years later, it is found that there are now landing paths to get back to Earth, even though these paths are sporadic. A Lunar nation invites a Martian nation to team up to explore Earth and what is left of humanity.
A lot of times in Star Trek, the being that gets omnipotent powers just kind of fucks off when they find the toys they’ve been playing with are no longer fun.
Mmmyesss…
Sometimes, your genius is almost frightening.
I never said people weren’t allowed, but there is this weird obsession about it on Lemmy.
Yeah. I’ve seen great designers get noticeably frustrated when they can’t optimize the project to the level they could in school because there is a budget and maintenance factors that keep it from happening.
You also start getting into issues where that staff can vastly outperform other staff and it creates tension in compensation.
