As I said, I didn’t read that one, but I feel like it did do something to you so probably yes.

Thanks, I just linked the first article I found assuming it would be enough to get the point across, did it say something incorrect?
I did it but left a few select support subreddits out of it, I just checked (thanks to you, thanks btw) and it seems my shit is still deleted, though I found out there’s at least one subreddit that logged comments as posts citing the usernames they’re from, seemingly for scraping and data aggregation purposes, since they’re without any context other than the title post and subreddit they’re from.
Seems to be dead for at least three years, but it’s still creepy.
Btw I’m certain there are many backups existing somewhere, maybe not public accessible but there must be
Obligatory “it’s not free, you pay for it in taxes” braindead comment.
Used to do pop, currently manjaro, liked it a lot and might go for straight arch in the future.
A few nitpicks here and there, since I do gaming and general internet browsing, it’s a hit or miss situation, but usually solving a problem means it won’t be a headache in the future, unlike with windows. In general it’s just tradeoffs, you get to brush off really stupid issues that pop up on windows for no good reason, but then compatibility (which afaik is actively worsened on purpose) becomes an issue with multiple elements that have to be circumvented individually, like the drm chip on my xbox controller or browser hardware acceleration.
My main reason is that I hate windows, but I’m progressively liking the concept of not being owned by the companies that make my software more and more.
I’m not big on fighting games, don’t they usually have a handicap setting? How do they work? I’m guessing good ones do stuff like break guard easier and do more damage, right?
You mean shitty remakes made to capitalize on the parents that want to share their nostalgia with their kids, there are plenty of excellent shows for kids nowadays and frankly I’m jealous, there’s plenty of variety of shows that don’t treat you like you’re dumb (there’s still pepa pig style of crap tho).
It’s like the marvel garbage, they make it for people who are addicted to their stuff and so will buy it regardless of quality and even buy more into it when they can complain about a brown character or something.
Edit: I wanted to add: shitty reboots don’t magically make the originals disappear, yet people treat it like that. Find new stuff, don’t be old man yelling at cloud.
I was really interested in it when it came out on my region and still use it, better than acting like it’s up to me to manually decide which content creator I bless with any sort of payment and which I don’t.
If ads were the only reason, I know how to evade them in just about every platform I use.
Johnathan Livingston seagull in a nutshell (Btw it’s a banger that you can finish in like an hour iirc)
Remove, sure, have a problem with, yeah I can see it, permaban? That one feels a bit excessive, though incels do tend to be insufferable.
It’s an experience you might want to have at least once, just to know what it’s like. If you’re excited about the movie, I’d say go for it! Like another commenter said, you’ll be asking yourself the same question until you do it.
I wouldn’t say it’s a must have experience in life, but it’s relatively accessible and will give you another dimension of context during conversation.
Where I live it’s not crazy expensive, but it’s definitely not throwaway money, though if the price is a consideration, it’s probably better image and sound quality than what you can get at home (assuming it’s a nice one, I have one in my city that has awful audio)
I support this point of view, but at the same time I want the status quo to be disrupted and the internet to change, I’m not a fan of allowing corporations to fall into complacency when they hold so much power.
I switched to duckduckgo a while back when I got tired of Google being a shitty search engine.
Just want to take a moment to point out that two of the three you seem to like because they remind you of the past.
I fully support your take on trying to find new stuff, I personally have found that many good songs that I love take a few listens for me to actually like them, some do not catch on tho.
Given that, may I suggest you add new songs you want to try in your rotation? When they come up just take some effort to listen through and take them in, think of what you like and what you don’t, see if it changes.
Don’t torture yourself tho
