Have you seen the prices for 8 TB ssds?
That was my fist thought. Like couldn’t they find a few warehouses or military bases or some place to put it? Even donating would have been better than destroying it.
I was just talking to my friends about this and the related food theory video on pizza chains.

I might also recommend instacart from a restaurant supply store like restaurant depot. You can find a lot of interesting things there in the frozen section.
You could probably make a new issue in a wishlust repo that uses markdown checkboxes or something similar. Would be good if you already host Gitea or another git sever.
This is probably a good portion of return to office mandates too, this and wage theft from having less stocks elegiable to vest due to people quiting
Let’s go to our local Library
As someone that just started modding and playing FNV for the first time about 2 weeks ago in linux, I must say this is one of the best mods for FNV and if you are planning to play the game I would highly recommend all the Viva New Vegas mods including the extended mods. With New Vegas Reloaded installed afterwards. Also I suggest you use a user generated preset for Reloaded. The Reloaded mod fixes a lot of issues I had with Viva New Vegas only and it adds many more features than I thought it would. It also seemed to have made the game run with less crashes too but I would still recommend CASM with MCM to improve the autosave functionality of the base game.
While I agree that the use of discord is mildy infuriating. I’d like to play some Devil’s avavodo for a moment as someone that uses git almost everyday and teaches trunk based development.
Not everyone knows how to use git. As a modding community they want outside contributions from anyone that is willing to put the time in and make as low as a barrier to entry as possible.
Most of these modders are using windows and even just installing git on windows isnt that easy for the average windows user. Infact i only just recently fugured out how to get mod organizer 2 working properly on linux so I could mod FNV using modorganizer2-linux-installer. For the average windows user, needing to make a git commit to contribute to a modding comunity would be more than mildly infuriating. So I especially see the user generated presets for this never leaving discord unless some kind of pipeline / serverless function was inplace that took the discord file uploads and did a git commit for the user.
Most of these builds are not plaintext and would not benifit from using git versioning. They should also probably make use of use git lfs considering their size which even less people understand how to use lfs compared to normal git.
I think the easiest solution is to try to copy both the stable and the nightly builds to their github on their own respective branches. And make set them as releases. Idealy this would be automated using guthub actions. This is not a trunk based development approach, but neither is having nightly builds and it would take time to change development philosophy.
The user generated presets however will take a bit more consideration before moving to github as anyone can upload them and they are made often. But this ultimately should also use github actions and be commited to a different repository possibly in the same organization (or what ever github calls it) as to keep a bit of distance from the official releases.
I’ve not had an issue with arch yet besies once like 4 years ago when I rebooted during a Nvidia driver update which was my own fault.
The goal is to introduce new Linux users both to the possible options and to proper documentation so that they can learn and help themselves.
Honestly, I wish I had started on arch instead of Ubuntu.
A new linux user will break their system. Thats part of the learning process. The queation is will they have the resources needed to fix it or will they be forced to reinstall.
These are the reasons i would sugest anyone to use an arch based distro like endevoros.
The most imporant thing a new linux user should know about, is how many options they have with linux. This is linux’s greatest strength and it is not a one size fits all solution. Arch and its derivatives are great examples of this.
Also, i recomend new users use a multiboot with multiple distros and testing for themselfs.
Can you get security updates more often than 2x a year doing this method?
I havent tried it, and i dont normally recomend snaps but fusion360 is in the snap store.
https://snapcraft.io/install/fusion360/arch
Also searching arch fusion360 (you can replace arch with another distro) gives a few hits that makes me think its possible like this one.

Many people suggest popOS for a new linux user which is based on ubuntu which in turn is based on debian. I never tried popOS but i found ubuntu hard to get packages or find help with when i was first learning.
I would recomend endeavourOS which is based on arch. In arch, its very easy to get packages and and find help since you can use the aur and the arch wiki . But it might require using the terminal a bit more than PopOS. Dont let that intimidate you however, the terminal is actually not hard to learn and many tools guide you through using it.
Both are better than windows and i would recomend you try them both on your machine. Just download the live image ISOs to a usb that has ventoy installed. Throw some other distros on there too like nobara just to round out your testing.
Then you can always install it on an old computer (even one that windows dosent work well on) or a spare hdd/ssd while testing until you are ready to leave windows for good.
This seems awesome, testing it out.
In today’s market, the perception or even the profitability of a product means nothing. All that actually matters is growth.
For a publicly traded company, or even one that just uses venture capital to start up; the product isn’t the thing that they might sell to consumers, it’s their brand. This is what gives them more capital to continue running the company and ultimately to profit.
This means that a company no longer needs to make good products, they don’t need to keep customers happy, they don’t even need to be profitable. All they need is to show growth opportunities to potential investors.
I recommend adding ollama under the artificial intelligence tag.
Any time that you spend with someone close to you can be romantic.
Some of the most memorable and romantic times I’ve had were just going for strolls, talking openly, and appreciating each other.
What type of metadata is on a server attached to posts, comments, votes and such?
Really, that thinking should be a last resort instead of the default.
It’s ok to be vulnerable. It’s ok to ask for help. It’s ok to do or say nothing while you assess a situation as sometimes that is the best course of action.
It’s only when you have no options left and you must act that you actually need to take action alone. One might actually need time to process a trauma, or experience grief. And I would argue that the ability to be vulnerable with others is it’s own type of strength.
For instance, if you are noticing that you are getting depressed and are finding it hard to perform basic maintenance tasks for yourself. Instead of first trying to be strong and convince yourself to do it every time. Maybe it might be better to seek help for your depression.
Just some quite time with my wife. If it has to be some type of food, then seasonal fruit.
