The only form of restriction/censoring of speech that has any bearing whatsoever on this discussion is that which is enacted by the government. Pretending that some other person is somehow “restricting their speech” and “oppressing them socially” (!?) by telling them to shut up or leave is disingenuous at best.

Sorry, no. I’m under no obligation to listen to anyone, and I can walk away and/or kick them out of my space for any reason I choose. There’s no theoretical line their speech needs to cross before it’s somehow morally acceptable for me to tell someone to fuck off. Yes, thank you! I like Nightly because I get the latest features, even if it means that every so often my browser crashes non-stop. I’ve made judicious use of the custom add-ons list to enable more than the six (?) defaults. It’s great.

Firefox Nightly. No issues pulling the icon as others have complained. It is janky: routine crashes after launching it, or getting an unending black screen at startup.

I put up with that kind of stuff because I want to read articles from Firefox, where I have add-ons like _unlock ublock, and opening links externally from chrome was awful, typically resulting in the PWA returning to the home screen after doing so.

If you can catch a good sale, they’re more affordable .I picked up two for about US$45 for their “May the Fourth” one-day sale in 2022.

This is the way to go! Bitwarden’s authenticator is just so smoothly integrated into the login process - Ctrl-Shift-L to login, them Ctrl-V to paste the code.

I use yubikeys wherever they’re available and I use Aegis for the rare TOTP I don’t store in Bitwarden.

It seems to work better with chrome, but trying to get links to open into Firefox is a tremendous pain in the ass, so I put up with some of the jankiness of Firefox for the PWA.

Holy shit! Thanks for this post, because up until now I was under the impression that I could only install using chrome. Now I’m back to using voyager in Firefox nightly. Love it even more!

Do I need to change anything? I still have a PWA icon on my home screen called wefwef. Will that still get updates? Will it eventually change to voyager?

What app should I be using if I only ever need to highlight, circle, or put text on an image?
